Lol, I guess many of us will simply become students overnight. Do they ask for Student ID card before sale? Microsoft must have gotten tired of the high level of Software Piracy in Nigeria. I see this as a subtle way of discouraging Nigerians from buying pirated Microsoft Office Suite. It is a good development. Thanks for the information.

It’s genuine and has been published in the papers like Punch by a Microsoft Representative in Nigeria. Like you said I think it has been stripped down cos if memory serves me right, it’s for students.

If I see the advert again, I’ll let you know what the package offers .

Are you sure it is genuine? That price is looking ridiculously cheap and sounds pretty unbelievable. Except if it is a stripped down version of Microsoft Office Suite.

ROFLMAO! No worry. I hear the latest version of Office being sold in Nigeria has about 3 licenses so you can install it on 3 computers for just N6,500.
